On the birth of the Sirāj and Munīr — a poem and its commentary on the Noble Mawlid, translated from the original Spanish. Four chapters explore the birth of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: the value of commemorating it, his lineage and the origins of creation, the signs that heralded his coming, and the birth itself. The commentary draws on nearly 200 classical sources and 150 hadiths, and traces the history of the Mawlid across the great imams. (English edition.)
